X Out Estrogen with 6-OXO

This entry was posted on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 at 4:15 pm and is filed under ErgoPharm, Products, Health and Nutrition Articles

Many bodybuilders and other athletes want supplements that limit the body’s levels of estrogen—the hormone that can make muscles look soft and even limit testosterone production. While testosterone-boosting supplements are widely available, products such as ErgoPharm 6-OXO are designed to inhibit estrogen production completely. This means the body gradually stops producing estrogen at all, and regular use may even reduce the chances of water retention and testicular shutdown. ErgoPharm 6-OXO is one of the first nonsteroidal aromatase enzyme inhibitors available, and offers a variety of benefits for those interested in boosting testosterone production while reducing estrogen.

Why Controlling Estrogen Is Important
Commonly known as the “female” hormone, estrogen contributes to breast-tissue growth, water retention, and a soft appearance for muscles. Athletes and bodybuilders can control and eliminate these side effects by taking an estrogen blocker, or by building up enough testosterone in the body to counteract these natural effects. However, ErgoPharm 6-OXO offers another solution. It’s formulated to reduce the production of estrogen via direct intervention in the conversion process. As it reduces estrogen production and levels in the body, it can simultaneously stimulate testosterone production, which builds up more “male” attributes that many bodybuilders and athletes yearn for.

Back to the Drawing Board
Steroids were once the only drugs used to control estrogen in males, but many standardized steroid and prohormone formulas produced undesirable side effects and could not be used for extended periods of time. One of the first estrogen-blocking supplements on the market was made of an isoflavone chrysin compound, but researchers proved that it could not block aromatase effectively. After chrysin, a range of aromatase inhibitors/estrogen blockers were introduced, with limited results: Herbs, including Vitex agnus-castus, and the bioflavonoid quercetin, proved to be ineffective in reducing estrogen levels, and they are not regularly used as testosterone-boosting supplements.

ErgoPharm 6-OXO Components
ErgoPharm 6-OXO has been introduced to the market as a “suicide inhibitor” of aromatase. The main ingredients can bind to aromatase enzymes and make them inactive; over time, this can significantly reduce estrogen production and levels in the body, and lead to a steady increase of testosterone production instead. Estrogen production is not eliminated completely, but is simply deactivated during the period of supplementation. Once you stop taking ErgoPharm 6-OXO, your estrogen production and activity will generally return to a normal level.

Considerations Before Taking ErgoPharm 6-OXO
ErgoPharm 6-OXO can be especially useful for those who are on a cycle of steroids, prohormones, or other hormone-regulating supplements. Since the body becomes less sensitive to increased or decreased testosterone production over time, an estrogen blocker can be particularly advantageous by providing a surge of testosterone during any cycle. ErgoPharm 6-OXO is also an all-natural androgen metabolite, and may be a valuable alternative to “traditional” prohormone or steroid formulas.

Testosterone production can be dramatically increased with a dose of 200 to 600 milligrams of 6-OXO once per day for approximately three to six weeks. Estrogen reduction is easy with one dose of 200 to 600 milligrams per day along with aromatizable steroids.
