Muscle Milk: Possible Side Effects and Allergies

This entry was posted on Monday, January 28th, 2008 at 10:53 am and is filed under Muscle Milk, Products, Health and Nutrition Articles

Muscle Milk is a sports nutrition supplement designed to enhance the body’s ability to develop and retain muscle mass, making it a favorite among bodybuilders and other health-conscious individuals. As with any nutritional supplement, people with certain specific allergies or medical conditions should do a bit of additional research or consult with their health-care providers when choosing the Muscle Milk product best suited for their health needs and fitness goals.

Inspired by Nature

Human mother’s milk is one of the most easily digested and efficiently utilized foods, able to support the rapid growth and development that occurs during infancy. Because of this, CytoSport developed the nutritional balance and substance of Muscle Milk to follow nature’s guidelines as closely as possible, making Muscle Milk a quality supplement able to be used safely and effectively by most people.

There are 27 different Muscle Milk flavors to choose from. That means that while each contains the targeted nutritional supplements best for building muscle and strength, there will be slight variations in the ingredients that are used to create the individual Muscle Milk flavors. People with milk or soy sensitivities or allergies will want to carefully review the label information of the product they are considering. One of the most common milk sensitivities is lactose intolerance, and those with this particular dietary concern will appreciate the lactose-free items in the Muscle Milk product line.

Ask Your Doctor

If you have a chronic medical condition, you should always seek medical advice before making changes to your fitness regimen or adding a supplement to your diet. Because supplements are so often based on essential nutrients and natural ingredients, it is all too easy to forget that they are powerful substances that can have a strong effect on the body and its health.

Because they face different health and wellness challenges, people with chronic medical conditions also need to pay close attention to balance. For example, while the levels of the essential amino acid L-Glutamine in Muscle Milk products are safe and effective for most consumers, those with Type I or Type II diabetes—depending on the degree of severity—may have to watch their L-Glutamine levels a bit more closely than the average person. However, for some chronic medical conditions, Muscle Milk—with its powerful, essential nutrients—can be a valuable part of a daily wellness plan.

For the typical consumer of Muscle Milk, adverse side effects are unlikely when they use it as directed. CytoSport chose the ingredients specifically for effectiveness and safety, and the nutrients in Muscle Milk are essential to keeping the body strong and healthy. Sensitivities to milk or soy-based proteins or products can vary in degree significantly from individual to individual, and there could be a potential for an allergic reaction for those who are highly allergic or sensitive. For most people, however, Muscle Milk is an excellent way to help achieve health and fitness goals and a valuable part of the daily routine, used efficiently and without difficulty by the body.

There a situation with regular cytosport’s muscle milk, its that it contain this ingredient “glycocyamine “, which is related to heart disease; given the likely increase of homocysteine levels in body, cancer; they added betaine in a ridiculous way to control the effect of glycocyamine; neurotoxic action; inhibiting the sodium pump in the brain and in consecuence any other cell of the organism in a subtle manner. And all that under the believe that this substance will add creatine to the formula. What a concern to users
