We want to help keep our customers healthy. One way we do that is to supply the best products at the best prices, but another is to educate them about health and nutrition. That’s where you come in.

We are: a competitive, fast-growing e-commerce company that sells nonprescription health and beauty products, such as dietary and nutritional supplements and cosmetics.

You are: an idea person. An adaptive, resourceful, creative thinker. Most important, an exceptional writer with at least two years of experience, preferably in the health and beauty or nutritional supplements industry.

Guidelines

1. This must be original content. If you try to plagiarize, we’ll catch you, and that wouldn’t be pleasant for either of us. To get a good idea of what constitutes plagiarism and how best to cite information sources, see the plagiarism page of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

2. Set the right tone. Your writing should be breezy and informative and appeal to a general audience. Many types of people visit our site, and you need to speak to all of them. That includes men and women, teenagers and seniors, bodybuilders, health and fitness enthusiasts, and people who are interested in alternative health and natural beauty products.

3. You’ll be paid after we receive the article.

4. We have the right to refuse any article that does not meet our guidelines.

5. We reserve the right to edit your article. Even so, watch your grammar, and please take a moment to spell-check your work before submitting it.

6. Cite your sources. If you gather information from other Web sites, publications, etc., you must attribute it. Please do not use Wikipedia as a primary source.

7. Unless we tell you otherwise, each article should be approximately 500 to 600 words long. Your word processing program probably contains a word-count feature.

8. As an added incentive, A1Nutrition.com will give you a writer’s profile page. Readers will be able to interact with you, and you’ll have a showcase for your writing portfolio. If you’d like us to include them on your profile page, please submit a photo of yourself in JPG format, along with a very brief bio.

9. A1Nutrition.com buys all rights.

10. Unlike some of our competitors, we don’t pay our writers in store credit. Instead, you’ll earn real money—starting at $25 per 500-word article, and up to $50 for longer, more-involved articles.

11. Unless otherwise arranged, each assignment is due to us in one week.
