Twinlab Mega L-Carnitine Tablets contain 100% natural L-Carnitine. No synthetic D-Carnitine or DL Carnitine is present. D-Carnitine and DL-Carnitine are less effective than L-Carnitine and DL-Carnitine are not recommended because of their adverse physical side effects. This product is manufactured at our own state of the art facility. L-Carnitine (an amino acid) is an useful pharmacological agent in the management of Ischemic heart disease, plays an important role in the production of heat in brown fat, prevents the accumulation of ketones during weight loss; and improves fat metabolism, reduces blood triglycerides, and increases the use of fat as an energy source. Vitamin C, B-6, Niacin, Lysine and Methionine work together to control the rate of Carnitine biosynthesis.

Each serving of 1 tablet provides:
L-Carnitine (from I-carnitine I-tartrate) - 500mg
Phosphorous - 40mg - 4%
Calcium - 52mg - 5%
