With the introduction of Amped ECN, MET-Rx has unveiled its most scientifically advanced sports supplement to date. MET-Rx researchers developed Amped ECN to cover the most important pre and post-workout concerns of bodybuilders and athletes alike. Unlike conventional sports supplements that focus on only one area such as strength, energy or circulation - Amped ECN harnesses the power of several bioactive factors to provide multi-level support. By combining ingredients that have both short and long-term effects, Amped ECN takes Sports Supplementation into a new era.
2. How do you take Amped ECN?
Read all label directions carefully prior to use. For adults, take 3 scoops per day. Two scoops of Amped ECN should be mixed approximately 30-60 minutes before an intensive workout. Half of the Amped ECN should be consumed shortly after mixing. This should allow sufficient time for the proprietary blends to start to kick in and get you charged up for exercise. During the course of your high-intensity training session, consume the balance of the metabolic mixture. This should help to maintain Amped's effects on energy and nutrient circulation.
3. What's in amped?
Amped ECN contains the latest and greatest ingredients to hit the exercise community in years, divided into 4 proprietary blends:
Pumped Blend: Combines the well researched Creatine Monohydrate with the hot new ingredient, Creatine Ester Phosphate Sodium, into one powerful blend along with N-Acetyl Cysteine.
Nitro Blend: Combines the only three known Branched-Chain Amino Acids (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine). These amino's support nitrogen levels.
Neuro-Energy Blend: Features over 1600mg per scoop of cutting edge ingredients such as Taurine, L-Tyrosine, Caffeine Anhydrous, White Willow and Vinpocetine.
NOS Blend: Packed with both free form L-Arginine and L-Glutamine in combination with Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid.
4. What's going to happen when I take Amped ECN?
Unlike many traditional sports supplements, you'll begin to feel the effects of Amped at your very first workout!* With continued use along with careful attention to your diet and exercise program, you'll begin to see Amped ECN's effects before your very own eyes, and so will everyone around you.* Here's how the proprietary blends work to make that happen:
Pumped Blend: This blend is mainly focused to assist you to achieve your long term effects. Creatine has been shown to help you crank out reps during high-intensity exercise. With continued use, this unique blend can support strength, power and recovery.
Nitro Blend: There are only three Branched-Chain Amino Acids, and they are the only essential amino acids that are not directly metabolized in the liver. By supplementing with these important aminos, you help to support nitrogen levels for several physiological functions.
Neuro-Energy Blend: This blend combines dual effects by providing energy magnification for both the mind and the body.The link between the mind/body and exercise performance can't be separated, which is why Amped is designed to support this critical issue.
NOS Blend: NOS Blend supports Nitric Oxide Synthase, which is responsible for supporting circulation of oxygen and other nutrients throughout the body. This specially-formulated blend may work synergistically with the other proprietary formulations through its effects on nutrient delivery. The NOS Blend also contains Glutamine, which is the most abundant amino acid in both the blood and muscle.
5. What is the difference between creatine and amped?
There actually is no comparison between Creatine and Amped ECN. Not only does Amped include Creatine Monohydrate, which is traditionally used in most creatine products, it also contains Creatine Phosphate Ester Sodium (CPES). CPES is rapidly becoming one of the hottest creatine products to hit the market in several years. Creatine, as creatine monohydrate, is simply attached to water. On the other hand, creatine as CPES is bonded at the molecular level to both phosphate and sodium ions. In the muscle, creatine is stored as creatine phosphate. Amped ECN is also much more then just a creatine supplement. By combining 4 proprietary blends into one explosive product, Amped supports Nitric Oxide Synthase, nitrogen levels, extreme energy and more! No traditional creatine product can even compare.
Ingredient Profile
| Ingredient | Description | Properties | Benefits |
| Creatine Ester Phosphate Sodium | Creatine bonded with a phosphate molecule | An excellent supplement choice for athletes and bodybuilders. Creatine is a bioactive compound involved in the energy transfer in muscles. (A preliminary study in humans suggests creatine ester phosphate sodium may be a more bioavailable form of creatine.) Creatine is the most researched ingredient for bodybuilders and athletes. | Helps promote exercise-athletic performance. Helps increase strength and power. Plays a role in the production and maintenance of ATP, the fuel needed for muscle contractions. Plays a key role in energy transfer and energy flow. |
| Creatine Monohydrate | Creatine | ||
| N-Acetyl Cyteine | Amino Acid | Antioxidant | NAC reinforces the body's natural antioxidant defenses. |
| L-Leucine | Amino Acid | BCAAs are considered essential amino adds because human beings cannot survive unless these amino acids are present in the diet. BCAAs are the only amino acids that are directly metabolized in the muscle as opposed to the liver, supplying a direct source of nitrogen to the muscle for various physiological functions. | Branched Chain Amino Acids help support muscle nitrogen and a free amino acid pool during exercise. |
| L-Isoleucine | Amino Acid | ||
| L-Valine | Amino Acid | ||
| Taurine | Amino Acid | Taurine is an amino acid-like compound and a component of bile acids, which are used to help absorb fats and fat-soluble vitamins. Taurine also helps to maintain heart health and maintain cell membrane stability. | L-Taurine plays a role in the physiologic processes in the muscle. |
| L-Tyrosine | Amino Acid | L-Tyrosine is a nonessential amino acid (protein building block) that the body synthesizes from phenylalanine, another amino acid. Tyrosine is important to the structure of almost all proteins in the body. | Tyrosine supports the thyroid gland and is essential for proper thyroid functioning. |
| Caffeine Anhydrous | Natural Alkaloid | Great before working out, caffeine fights fatigue and helps you get ready for your workout. | Promotes Energy, central nervous system stimulant. |
| White Willow Bark | Herb | White Willow Bark was used traditionally by herbalists to promote a variety of health benefits. |
White Willow Bark contains important constituents,
including salicin, a natural substance that provides
a holistic solution to today's physical lifestyles. |
| Vinpocetine | Herbal Compound | Vinpocetine is a chemical substance synthesized from vincamine, a natural constituent found in the leaves of Vinca minor (lesser periwinkle). | Involved with the chemical processes in the brain |
| L-Arginine, L-Glutamine with Alpha Ketoglutaric Acid (AKG) | Amino Acid Complex | L-Arginine and L-Glutamine are two of 20 amino acids. L-Arginine plays a role in human nutrition. L-Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid. It becomes an essential amino acid at times of metabolic stress. | L-Arginine is a nitric oxide inducer and supports circulation of nutrients during exercise. L-Glutamine is an energy precursor and protein building block. |
