Maxi Health Research developed FocusMax One, a unique dietary supplement in a liquid filled vegetarian capsule to support and maintain brain and eye health. FocusMax One combines DHA, phosphaditylcholine with lecithin and natural vitamin E to form a great product. Focusmax One also provides Omega 3, an essential fatty acid, necessary for normal growth and development.

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid. The cells of the brain, retina, and other parts of the nervous system all rely on DHA. DHA supports the development of the brain chemicals needed for normal brain function and mood. It helps maintain a healthy cardiovascular system and supports healthy vision. DHA is important throughout pregnancy and lactation for the health of both mother and fetus.

Maxi Health Research uses Neuromins DHA providing you with a high quality, safe product. Until recently, the primary sources of DHA dietary supplements were from fish oils. Recently, a process was developed that extracts DHA from algae, yielding a highly purified form of DHA called Neuromins DHA. Neuromins DHA is the only DHA source which does not contain other long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids such as those that may be inappropriate for infants, children and certain adults. Neuromins DHA is also free of chemical pollutants and toxins that may be present in certain fish oils.

Phosphatidylcholine, or Choline, found in soy products and lecithin readily converts to acetylcholine, the memory neurotransmitter in the brain.

Deficiency of acetylcholine production may be one of the contributing factors of memory decline in the elderly. Some studies suggest improved mental performance in patients when given choline supplementation.
