In the remote Yaqara Valley of Viti Levu, at the very edge of a primitive rainforest, there is a vast artesian aquifer. It is a huge volcanic chamber confined by the rock walls of an ancient crater. FIJI Water is bottled from this artesian aquifer, 1,500 miles away from the nearest continent. The distance between the aquifer and pollutants is part of what makes Fiji water more pure and so much healthier than other bottled waters.

Some bottled waters are bottled from municipal reservoirs after they are purified and chemically treated. Even "spring" water is affected by the earth's many pollutants as it rises to the surface.

Then there's FIJI Water ... uncontaminated and uncompromised. It is preserved and protected by its source and location, FIJI Water's aquifer is in a remote virgin ecosystem. Rainfall is purified by equatorial winds after traveling thousands of miles across the Pacific Ocean. Winds that carry acid rain and pollutants do not go near Fiji.

By definition, artesian water comes from a source deep within the earth, protected by layers of clay and rock. There is no opening to the surface. As a result, the water never comes into contact with the air, protecting it from environmental pollutants and other contamination.

FIJI Water's state-of-the-art bottling facility was designed to protect the purity and quality of the water being bottled. It was built on top of the aquifer, and the water is drawn into the plant using a completely sealed delivery system. It was designed to prevent any possible human contact.

Until opened, FIJI Water has not had contact with the pollution of the 21st century. No other natural waters can make that statement.
