1-NO Drink Mix

1-NO is an exciting new generation approach to amino acid based, nitric oxide promotion products. 1-NO combines arginine alpha- ketoglutarate (AKG) with ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate (OKG). The addition of OKG augments the NO stimulatory action of AKG by providing a secondary route to plasma arginine elevation. OKG goes beyond AKG however as it also raises levels of plasma glutamine, polyamines, growth hormone and insulin. These elevations result in a powerful anti-catabolic action which is the reason OKG is widely used in medicine after traumatic injury to prevent muscle wasting.

1-NO also contains L-Histidine and beta-alanine. L-Histidine is an amino acid which, like arginine, has been shown to be a potent substrate for Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS). Along with the L-Histidine, 1-NO contains beta-alanine. Beta-alanine combines in the body with L-histidine to form carnosine, which is stored in the muscle and acts as a protectant for the L-histidine preventing it from quick metabolic deactivation.

In essence, 1-NO contains not only one, but TWO amino acid, nitric oxide stimulators. The result is a vast improvement over older arginine-only based NO products. 1-NO also comes in a great-tasting, lemon-lime drink mix , providing very fast absorption and action - making 1-NO an excellent pre-workout supplement.
