Imported Pasta Sauce Details:

All natural Alessi Pasta Sauce tastes homemade because it's made like the Alessi's make it at home. Fresh garlic and onion are sauteed in Alessi Extra Virgin Olives Oil. Chopped Sicilian pear shaped tomatoes and fresh basil leaf are then added. The tomatoes are picked from the fields of Sicily in their prime, juicy, red and ivne ripened. The sauce is then seasoned with Alessi Sea Salt and cooked only enough to preserve the fresh tomato taste and to marry the flavors. Because the sauce is so perfectly balanced, every ingredient can be tasted.

 

Serving Suggestion:
Our Alessi Pasta Sauce is best when heated only to the point of being ready to serve. Overheating results in the continuation of cooking and changes the flavor. Heat in a medium, heavy bottomed pan and serve over cooked "al dente" pasta. Top with freshly grated cheese, if desired.

All Natural Ingredients:
Sicilian Pear-Shaped Tomatoes, Alessi Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Onion, Black and Green Olives, Garlic, Capers, Anchovy Paste, Alessi Sea Salt, Hot Peppers.
